We developed the ‘Karak with Friends’ series with Qatar Creates to promote the diversity of arts and culture in Qatar.

Designed as a web series, each episode focuses on a fun, engaging conversation (over a traditional cup of Karak!) between famous Qatari-based interviewers and a celebrity whose career connects with the artistic culture of Qatar.

Through this intimate set-up, the series explores the many different cultural aspects that the country has to offer, giving the audience in a different insight into Qatari life through a new lens.

In this episode, Hamad Al-Amari interviews world-renowned Syrian-American pianist and humanitarian, Malek Jandali, where they explore Malek’s career and his relationship with Qatar – among many other things!
