We developed the ‘Karak with Friends’ series with Qatar Creates to promote the diversity of arts and culture in Qatar.

Designed as a web series, each episode focuses on a fun, engaging conversation (over a traditional cup of Karak!) between famous Qatari-based interviewers and a celebrity whose career connects with the artistic culture of Qatar.

Through this intimate set-up, the series explores the many different cultural aspects that the country has to offer, giving the audience in a different insight into Qatari life through a new lens.

In this episode, Eileen Lahi interviews award-winning filmmaker, Mira Nair, as they dive into the wide-ranging nature of her career, her creative endeavours, her relationship with Qatar, and her love for tea!
