We’re hugely proud to announce that, for the 12th year running (we can’t quite believe it!), we’ve been crowned New York Festivals’ Production Company of the Year Worldwide! We celebrated this magnificent achievement at the prestigious award ceremony held in Las Vegas last night, and are truly humbled to have been awarded this title once again.
The great news didn’t quite end there – we also took home a host of other awards: 3 GOLDS, 4 SILVERS, 6 BRONZES, and 7 finalist certificates! Coming up against fierce competition from 50 countries around the world, we’re so proud of our exceptional team here at The Edge.
We’d like to say a huge congratulations to Barclays, the BBC, Deloitte, ENA, EY, GKN, Network Rail, Ogilvy, PwC, Sidra, Syngenta, and Wandle on the success of their films.
We’ve shared 3 of our Gold Award-winning films below – we’d love to know what you think!
ENA – Safety First
Accidental contact with live overhead power lines kills people and causes many serious injuries every year.
Statistics show that those who work within the agriculture sector are at the greatest risk. ENA wanted to target these people with information about planning and managing work efficiently around overhead lines so that risks from accidental contact or close proximity are adequately controlled.
Ogilvy/Qatar Post – Dear Qatar
Qatar Post recently went through a ‘modern transformation’ process in order to build a sustainable, more contemporary postal sector.
‘Dear Qatar’ raises awareness of Qatar Post’s new brand identity and core values (reliability, effectiveness, openness, modernity and excellence) and marks a new beginning for the postal services of Qatar.
Syngenta – We All Have to Eat
With the impending sale to ChemChina, Syngenta wanted to mark this new chapter with a fresh brand film.
‘We All Have to Eat’ showcases the fresh, innovative ways in which Syngenta helps growers around the world. The film also reinforces the organisation as an important company contributing towards feeding a growing global population – doing this responsibly and sustainably.
